Following unknown armed groups have attacked a hand grenade into Ethiopian troops based at Towfiq hotel the soldiers have started to spread out in Yaqshid neighborhood north of Mogadishu on Thursday morning-residents said.

“The soldiers have are going around our Yaqshid ward” Abdirahman Bashir a resident in Yaqshid told Shabelle English service.

The soldiers didn’t so far started any search operations reportedly although they are watchfully walking in the villages of the district.

Some residents in Yaqshid district confirmed Shabelle that the Ethiopian troops have captured several people they suspected at the occasion they were spreading out in Yaqshid.

Several minutes lasted clash erupted in the vicinity of towfiq hotel when the bomb was hit at the site the Ethiopian troops were guarding.

The soldiers also entered in a mosque in the neighborhood capturing seven people four of them were Tabliq clerics although five of the inmates were later released.

The Ethiopian soldiers also stretched along the main street between Towfiq and Jungal while other soldiers are patrolling the 30th toll road in Mogadishu.

No confrontation against the Ethiopian troops occurred in Yaqshid district was reported although its unknown the causalities sustained by the Ethiopian troops from the hand grenade they were assaulted by unknwn groupd.
